Liberty Commercial Finance hired Rick Rockhold as senior vice president of Credit and Capital Markets, continuing the growth of its senior management team.
Rockhold joined Liberty with 28 years of senior management and transaction experience in the equipment leasing and finance industry.
He most recently served as the principal of Voltaic Capital Markets, where he was an independent arranger of equipment finance transactions focused mainly in the transportation, industrial and energy asset classes. Prior to launching Voltaic, Rockhold spent more than 10 years with boutique leasing fund manager Cypress Financial as co-head of the lease acquisitions and portfolio management team.
“We are ecstatic about Rick joining the team to head up our capital markets group,” said Eric Freeman, Liberty president and founder. “His knowledge, experience and reputation throughout the investor community will be a tremendous asset to Liberty as we continue to execute on our growth initiatives.”
