Lobo Leasing Adds New EVP

Lobo Leasing announced the addition of Mark Kelly as executive vice president and managing director to lead its global headquarters in Dublin and report to Lobo CEO, Bill Wolf.

Kelly will have oversight of the company’s global commercial activities and operations of Lobo’s Dublin headquarters. Kelly joins Lobo from Lease Corporation International (LCI), where he served as vice president of Marketing handling business development. During Kelly’s time at LCI, he added new client relationships and achieved repeat business including the leasing of new helicopters as well as sale and leaseback transactions.

“I am delighted to lead Lobo’s operations in Ireland and thrilled to be joining the company at an exciting time in its development,” said Kelly. “There is an energy and passion among Lobo’s global team that translates into tremendous value for customers and partners working with them. I am looking forward to building on the successful foundations already in place and helping to accelerate growth of the business.”

A fully trained and experienced helicopter pilot, Mark has deep industry experience, particularly in search and rescue. Prior to his position at LCI, Mark was the managing director of CHC Ireland where he led the team that successfully bid for the Irish Coast Guard search and rescue service contract and oversaw its fleet replacement process, including team, management and project innovation.

“I am thrilled that Mark has joined our team,” said Wolf. “He shares our values and our focus on bringing innovative solutions to the market. His proven track record in the industry speaks to his exceptional leadership and customer relationship talents.”

In connection with this announcement, Lobo co-founder and chief commercial officer, John Contas, who moved to Dublin in early 2014 to lead the establishment of Lobo’s Dublin headquarters, will be returning to the U.S. office of Lobo in San Francisco where he will focus on marketing, customer relations and business development activities.

“We are grateful to John for having taken on the challenge of opening and building-up Lobo’s Dublin office during the past two years,” said Wolf. “He has built a terrific team and the plan has always been for John to return to the US once we recruited a permanent managing director and we certainly found the right person in Mark Kelly.”

Lobo Leasing is a helicopter leasing company based in Dublin.
