Macquarie Launches Office Technology Leasing Division, Carollo to Lead

Macquarie Group established an office technology leasing division in the United States, building on its experience in leasing IT equipment and its group of leasing businesses globally.

Macquarie hired a seven-person team of sales executives with office technology leasing experience to form the core of the new team, which is being led by Fred Carollo, who will serve as vice president. The new division, based in Jacksonville, FL, is part of Macquarie’s specialized and asset finance (SAF) business, a unit of the firm’s commodities and global markets group.

“We believe that Macquarie will be able to blend its deep global leasing expertise with the insights of our specialist office technology team to develop best-in-class platforms,” Kory Grant, head of U.S. sales at Macquarie SAF, said. “We are expanding our leasing business to include office technology during a time of industry dislocation because we believe in the long-term potential of the space and in our unique capabilities to serve customers well.”

Macquarie SAF’s office technology team will focus on providing lifecycle solutions over a range of technology assets, including office equipment, data security, document management and managed services.

Macquarie SAF provides leasing and financial solutions in more than 20 countries and its systems process and bill 10 million assets monthly. The company has more than 20 years of experience in raising residual value investments.
