Comerica Bank has promoted Matt Marchbanks to Fort Worth Market President, the company announced Thursday.
Marchbanks will also serve as senior vice president and group manager for Comerica’s Middle Market and Business Banking teams in the region. He will lead business and community development efforts across Tarrant County, with a focus on growing client relationships and supporting new business.
“Matt has played an integral role in establishing our commercial banking operations in the Fort Worth Market,” said Brian Enzler, director of Middle Market and Business Banking for North Texas. “Under his leadership, I am confident that our team will continue to build long-term relationships and expand our portfolio.”
Marchbanks began his career at Comerica 25 years ago after completing the bank’s Commercial Banking Development Program. He has held several leadership roles, including overseeing commercial banking in the Dallas-Fort Worth West and South Florida regions. He also served for nine years as a relationship manager in North Texas.
A longtime Tarrant County resident, Marchbanks holds a finance degree from Texas A&M University and is a graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. He has also completed leadership programs and served on various local boards.
