MidAtlantic Farm Credit hired Samantha Steele as a loan officer. She will be based in the association’s Denton, MD office.

“We’re happy to have Samantha join our sales team,” said Wayne Richard, regional lending manager for MidAtlantic Farm Credit. “Her background in agriculture is extensive, and we look forward to her working with our members and helping them plan for financial success.”

As a loan officer, Steele will work with both current and prospective customers to help them reach their financial goals.

“I am very excited to join the Farm Credit family and for the opportunity to work with local farmers,” said Steele. “It is incredibly rewarding to witness the passion they have for their jobs, and I look forward to helping them grow and ensure their operations will be around for generations to come.”

Prior to joining Farm Credit, Steele was a crop insurance agent with Weller & Associates.
