Monitor Hosts First Interactive Live+ Streaming Event

Monitor hosted its very first Live+ streaming event on April 16th in two sessions moderated by Deborah Reuben, CLFP, CEO of TomorrowZone. Each well-attended session was interactive and included thoughtful questions from attendees.

In Part 1, Michelle Speranza, SVP, chief marketing officer at LEAF Commercial Capital; Tawnya Stone, VP Strategic Technology, GreatAmerica Financial Services; and Paul Fogle, managing director of Quality Leasing Co. shared strategies for communicating with customers during a crisis, standing up a virtual workplace in 10 days and dealing with payment modification requests.

In Part 2, Chris Enbom, CEO at AP Equipment Financing and Work Truck Direct; Andrew Cotter, EVP, CIO from Somerset Capital Group; and Katie Emmel, Chief Operating Officer at IDS discussed empathy for customers and employees, getting staff up to speed with technology and business continuity through the cloud.

Lisa Rafter, Publisher of Monitor, said: “First and foremost, I want to thank the amazing people in this industry for coming together and joining our first Monitor Live+ stream. I also want to thank the moderator and panelists for leading this discussion in a time where clarity, unity, and leadership is most important. There could not be a more appropriate time to host this livestream and share our discussions and insights. Today we saw hundreds of industry professionals attend and join our live discussion to help each other navigate these uncharted waters. We are fortunate to be able to bring this kind of content to your home and we’re excited for the next Live+ session. The launching of this new live stream medium is the beginning of a long line of amazing new opportunities from the Monitor. A special thanks to our sponsors and panelists for their shared vision to shape this industry into a brighter and more promising future for all of us.”

IDS Asset Finance Technology was the platinum sponsor of the event. Other sponsors included Mantrapoynt Inc., Rinaldi Advisory Services, TomorrowZone, MMedia and Syndifi Inc.
