As the voice of equipment finance, Monitor will elevate the voices of a population that has too long been underrepresented in the industry in its next Monitor Live+ event.
Moderator Emani Davis, Create(her) of the Omowale Project, which supports organizations in addressing issues of race equity and diversity while reducing trauma and building resilience, will be joined by five featured guests:
Eric McGriff, SVP and Sr. Divisional Credit Officer, TIAA Bank
Sherry Lowe Johnson, U.S. Director & Senior Counsel, Volvo Financial Services
Thorb Towles, SVP & Director of Equipment Management, BMO Harris Equipment Finance
Charles Hill Jr., HR Business Partner, DLL
Gordon Scott, Business Development Executive, Experian – Automotive Lender Group
In this livestream, Monitor will tackle the lack of Black representation in equipment finance by speaking with African American leaders to not only hear their perspectives but to create a launching pad to generate more opportunities for inclusion, leadership and career advancement for Black members of the industry.
“Monitor is hosting this important event so our industry can learn from the experiences and perspectives of Black members of the industry,” Lisa Rafter, publisher of the Monitor, said. “We trust that industry leaders will take away tangible action items to address hurdles to greater equity and strategies to enhance their company’s efforts in creating more opportunities for Black members of the industry.”
DLL is the platinum sponsor for this Live+ event. Odessa is the gold sponsor and silver sponsors include Alfa, TIAA Bank, The Omowake Project and MMedia.
