Registration for the National Equipment Finance Association’s 2016 Funding Symposium, which will be held in October, is open now with discounts offered for early registrants.
“The Funding Symposium also acts as the official annual business meeting for the National Equipment Finance Association,” said Gerry Egan, NEFA’s executive director. “In a small, relaxed and friendly environment, the NEFA Funding Symposium offers great networking opportunities, a variety of top-notch educational sessions, and face-to-face meetings with leading funding source and service provider exhibitors. Last year’s Funding Symposium drew a record 281 registrants from across the U.S. and Canada including a record 82 first time attendees.”
The 2016 Funding Symposium will be held October 6-8 at the Radisson Blu Mall of America Hotel, which is attached to the Mall of America in Minneapolis. The NEFA conference hotel is just five miles from the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport.
The chairperson for the 2016 Funding Symposium is Jim Peach, CLFP, VP and sales manager for Stearns Bank in Albany, MN. Working with a dedicated team of volunteers, the Chairperson pulls together the educational lineup of the conference.
“We get great feedback from the attendees following each NEFA conference and we’ve used that to focus our educational sessions on things that are both timely and important to NEFA Members,” said Peach.
In addition to the full conference lineup, attendees can also register to participate in a fundraising event on Friday evening to help raise money for NEFA’s Chris Walker Education Fund and another charity luncheon and outing prior to the conference on Thursday.
“It helps with our planning if people register early,” said Egan, “So we offer tiered registrations for the Funding Symposium. That means people who register during July get the very best pricing.”
