Newsweek named equipment rental company United Rentals one of America’s Most Trusted Companies of 2022, ranking it first in its category.

Newsweek worked with Statista, a statistics portal and industry ranking provider, to identify this year’s list of America’s Most Trusted Companies. The honorees were identified via an independent survey based on a sample of approximately 50,000 U.S. residents who rated companies they know on three touchpoints of trust, including customer trust, investor trust and employee trust. A total of 110,000 evaluations were submitted. All stock exchange listed companies with revenues of more than $500 million in 2020 were considered in the study. The top 400 most trusted companies across 22 industries were then chosen.
