Nordea Finance Chooses CHP's ALFA Systems

CHP Consulting announced that Nordea Finance, one of northern Europe’s largest finance company groups, approved a four-year, multi-phased project to implement ALFA Systems for its Nordic companies.

As the new package solution, ALFA will replace investment credit back-end and front-end systems across Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Andrew Denton, chief operating officer, CHP Consulting, said: “We’re delighted to be engaged by Nordea Finance for this vital and substantial new project. Its aim is to harmonize and simplify investment credit systems and business processes across the Nordic region, an area in which we’ve maintained a strong presence for the last six years. Their confidence in us is evidence of our strong performance to date, but also of the greater things we can achieve through the strength of our product and our people. We’re very excited to be delivering genuine value to the business.”

The project begins in earnest in June with the migration of a large leasing portfolio in Finland. However, considerable progress has already been made on process definition and configuration.

CHP Consulting is currently producing Right First Time, a series of articles on how to transform an asset finance company through systems implementation, and will be deploying its themes with Nordea during the project.
