Utah Business named OnSet Financial’s general counsel Scott Finlinson a Corporate Counsel Honoree. The awards honor Utah’s standout corporate counsel for the critical roles they play in making their companies successful.

Finlinson joined Onset in 2014 and manages all of the company’s legal issues while also scaffolding the company’s internal policies, procedures, and documentation.

“It’s a great honor to be recognized as one of the 2019 Corporate Counsel Honorees. I’ve been practicing law now for over 20 years, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with a lot of great people in the community,” said Finlinson. “Working with Onset is a true highlight for me. It’s truly exhilarating to be part of such an amazing team.”

The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association also relies on Finlinson for his expertise on its Legal Forum, where he has served for the past two years.

Prior to joining Onset, Finlinson was a partner at Ray Quinney & Nebeker where he worked in the firm’s corporate, tax and real property sections and was voted one of Utah’s Legal Elite.
