Paperclip Publishing Holds Inaugural Equipment Finance Cares Event in Minnesota

Paperclip Publishing held its inaugural Equipment Finance Cares event in Minnesota last week. According to the company, this was one of the first in-person equipment finance networking events of 2021 and had just shy of 60 total attendees.

“I want to thank everyone who took the time to be a part of our first of many Equipment Finance Cares events,” Brooke Eisenhart, CEO of Paperclip Publishing, said. “We had 13 sponsors and Paperclip Publishing was able to make a donation to all of the foundations that were showcased during the event.”

The program was headlined by Paperclip author Lovern Gordon, who discussed her newly released memoir, “The Legacy He Left Me.” After two panel discussions with industry thought leaders, the program switched over to showcasing foundations and charities that are associated with equipment finance professionals and organizations.  There was also time for attendees to network with industry peers.

“Thought leadership combined with awareness around issues that we all could lend our hand to made for a great afternoon and looking forward to more EFC events,” Gordon said.

Equipment Finance Cares Attendee Feedback

“Not only are the equipment finance companies supporting employees coming to work as their authentic selves, but they are also creating a means for them to be part of something bigger. Giving back to our communities and supporting others in need should all be part of our normal workday. The panelists and companies represented at the event are trailblazers — more businesses should take note.”

“A perfect way to get back to in-person events … the pandemic forced us to redefine ourselves and our role in the family and household. This personal event made it easier to transition to the larger events that are on the horizon.”

“I found some of work that institutions are doing eye opening and I have been sparked to look for ways to assist in my local community. That and Lovern is amazing.”

“Good times were had. Great initiatives were highlighted. Excellent people were met.”

The next Equipment Finance Cares event will be on Aug. 17 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST at the Rockland County Country Club in Rockland County, NY.
