The next Equipment Finance Cares event from Paperclip Publishing will be held on Aug. 17 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST at the Rockland County Country Club in Sparkill, NY. Lovern Gordon, a Paperclip author who has been with Boston Financial & Equity Corporation since 1999, will headline the event. She will be discussing her domestic violence memoir, “The Legacy He Left Me.”
“We had a great turnout at our first event in Minneapolis,” Brooke Eisenhart, CEO of Paperclip Publishing, said. “We are looking forward to continuing the momentum of the Equipment Finance Cares initiative at our next event in the New Jersey/New York area.”
Lisa Rafter, CEO of Monitor, and Jesse Johnson, vice president of sales and marketing at JDR Solutions, will moderate the event’s thought leadership panels. The panels will be formatted as two, one-hour discussions with equipment finance professionals and the event will wrap up with a two-hour networking reception.
“Equipment Finance Cares provides an educational platform of thought leadership ideas from industry leaders and, even more importantly, an opportunity to learn more about the domestic violence epidemic that is plaguing the world today,” Eisenhart said.
The first panel will be comprised of operational equipment finance professionals including Nancy Robles of Eastern Funding, Paul Vecker of Macrolease and Denny Smith of Peapack Capital. The second group will consist of equipment finance sales professionals and includes Keith Smith of Star Hill Financial, Stephanie Hall of BankFinancial and Shawn Arnone of Key Equipment Finance.
Equipment Finance Cares is a platform that showcases how equipment finance professionals and organizations are giving back to their respective communities. Love Life Now, Magic Charities, the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation, Paperclip Charities and CEFI United Way are among the foundations currently being showcased for this event.
Wolters Kluwer, Dedicated Commercial Recovery, Great American Insurance, JDR Solutions, Peapack Capital, Star Hill Financial, Eastern Funding and BankFinancial are among the event’s sponsors.
