Tony Famularo joined ProLease as managing director of Technical Accounting. Famularo has 30 years of experience in technical accounting and will advise ProLease clients as they adopt the new FASB and IASB lease accounting standard.

Famularo worked as a senior manager in Technical Accounting at Sony Electronics for more than 20 years providing technical accounting guidance and training, while establishing accounting policy to finance and accounting personnel in the U.S., Canada and Europe. At Sony, he provided technical accounting support and worked as the knowledge leader on projects such as the new revenue standard and the new lease accounting standard. Additionally, Famularo worked at Ernst & Young as a senior auditor, planning and running audit engagements, including reviews of internal controls.

Famularo’s technical accounting experience will provide ProLease with the necessary guidance to continue to expand and upgrade the functionality of its lease accounting software.
