Radius Bank appointed Marty Ferguson senior vice president/national sales director for its Government Guarantee Lending (GGL) division. He will be based in Memphis, TN.

Along with leading the 7a origination team, Ferguson will be tasked with growing the bank’s new 504 direct loan originations and expanding the team to include a Wholesale division to provide Radius and Certified Development Companies with an additional resource to fund their 504 loans.

Ferguson has built a 30-year career in the banking industry and brings a wide range of knowledge of the Small Business Administration industry to the organization. His experience will be instrumental in continuing the momentum Radius has gained as a Top 30 National SBA Lender.

Before joining Radius, Ferguson was president and chief executive officer of the SBA division of Evolve Bank & Trust, where his team was responsible for the risk management, closing, accounting, servicing, auditing and sales of GGL loans. Prior to Evolve, Ferguson was vice president of Small Business Lending at Magna Bank where he built the SBA lending department from its infancy to becoming the No. 1 SBA lender in the Memphis market in just over one year. He has also held positions with GE Capital, GE Commercial Finance, GE Real Estate and St. Albans Capital.

Ferguson will report directly to Chicago-based executive vice president / national director of Government Guaranteed Lending Diane Gallion.
