The proposed tariff, which China’s Ministry of Commerce announced plans for last week, would put a 25% tariff on U.S. aircraft such as the Gulfstream G550 and G650 and the Boeing Business Jet, Reuters said.
Reuters noted, citing a Bombardier forecast, the market for business jets is expected to more than double in China over the next 20 years.
