Reuters reported that the Thomson Reuters/PayNet Small Business Lending Index dropped to 121.3 in October from 128.8 in September.
Reuters noted this is the lowest level recorded by the index since January, marking the fifth consecutive month of decline.
According to Reuters, delinquencies also increased to the highest level seen in four years.
