Reuters: U.S. Holiday Online Shopping Breaks Records



According to Reuters, citing a report from Mastercard, U.S. holiday season shoppers broke records for online shopping.

E-commerce transactions accounted for 14.6% of total sales, up 18.8% year over year, according to Reuters.

Despite an abbreviated shopping season due to a late Thanksgiving, total holiday shopping sales grew by 3.4% in 2019, according to the report.
