Roger Morin, Former RVI Group SVP, Passes Away



Roger Morin, who retired from RVI Group in December after nearly 20 years with the firm, passed away on April 27.

Morin joined RVI Group in 2003 as vice president of commercial equipment and aircraft and was promoted to senior vice president in 2018. Prior to RVI Group, Morin spent 14 years at GE Capital after starting his career in 1983 as a risk analyst at Concord Leasing.

RVI Group released the following statement:

“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our esteemed colleague and friend, Roger Morin, on April 27, 2023. Roger retired from RVI Group in December 2022 after nearly 20 years of service and was looking forward to enjoying his retirement with his wife, Phyllis, on Candlewood Lake in New Fairfield, CT.

“Roger was a lifelong fan of Uconn Huskies football and basketball and had a successful career at GE Capital before joining RVI Group in Stamford, CT. He was highly respected by his colleagues and clients around the world and will be deeply missed.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to Roger’s family and friends during this difficult time. He will be remembered for his dedication, hard work and the positive impact he made on the lives of those around him.”
