According to the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association, Eileen Schoonmaker, U.S. general manager of soft assets at DLL, and Amy Ventling Hester, U.S. general manager of hard assets at DLL, will retire on April 7.
Schoonmaker has been with DLL since 2000, first joining as a vice president of client services and going on to serve in numerous leadership roles, including her most recent title as general manager of soft assets. Prior to DLL, Schoonmaker worked for AT&T Capital and AT&T Leasing Services. Schoonmaker, a 40-year veteran of the equipment finance industry, is also the current chair of the captive and vendor finance business council steering committee for the ELFA.
Ventling Hester has spent 40 years in the vendor finance industry, including the last four as general manager of hard assets at DLL. Before joining DLL in late 2018, Ventling Hester spent 18 years with AGCO Finance, a joint venture between DLL and AGCO Corporation, including 13 years as CEO.
According to the ELFA, DLL is currently searching for a successor to lead the U.S. business, with Gustavo Lichtenberger stepping in as interim U.S. general manager for now.
