SEC Investigates GE’s Revenue Recognition Practices



The Wall Street Journal reported that the Securities and Exchange Commission is looking into GE Capital’s revenue recognition practices for “long-term service contracts.”

CEO John Flannery revealed some details about the investigation as he discussed declines in Q4/17 revenue and profit during a conference call, the Journal said.
