SMBC Aviation Capital delivered one Airbus A320NEO aircraft (MSN 9030) equipped with two CFM Leap-1A26 engines to Gulf Air.

Delivery occurred while the aircraft and the associated engines were located at the Airbus delivery center in Toulouse, France.

This is the third of six A320NEO aircraft to be delivered to Gulf Air, with the next delivery scheduled for September 2019.

Founded in 1950, Gulf Air is the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain and was one of the first commercial airlines established in the Middle East. Today, Gulf Air is a major international carrier serving 47 cities in 26 countries spanning three continents.
