SMBC MANUBANK, a wholly owned subsidiary of SMBC Americas and a member of SMBC Group, appointed three new executives to lead the credit, accounting and information technology functions as part of the bank’s ongoing business transformation.
Michael Trivich joined the bank in June as managing director, chief credit officer. Leading the bank’s second line of defense credit risk administration, Trivich balances loan portfolio growth with prudent credit risk controls, as well as designing the client experience from start to finish.
In September, the bank welcomed Monica Sparks as executive director, chief accounting officer to oversee all corporate accounting, financial reporting, tax and internal control functions for the commercial and digital divisions. Sparks is responsible for spearheading initiatives to streamline accounting processes by implementing automation and other technology solutions.
In October, Jeff Jones became managing director, chief information officer, overseeing the combined technology strategy for SMBC MANUBANK’s commercial and digital divisions. Jones is responsible for establishing a technology infrastructure and partnering with leaders across the organization to strengthen the Jenius Bank technology product development.
