Ryan Bohlert joined Stonebriar Commercial Finance as managing director of originations. Based in Plano, TX, Bohlert will cultivate existing relationships and develop new ones to source fixed asset-secured lease and loan opportunities.
Prior to joining Stonebriar, Bohlert was senior vice president of capital markets with SLR Equipment Finance. Bohlert’s earlier experience includes sales and marketing roles at Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company, Terex and AXA Financial.
“During Ryan’s 10-year commercial finance career, he has developed a broad and valuable network of contacts and demonstrated a consistent track record of structuring and closing creative capital solutions for his clients,” Kyle Parks, head of direct originations at Stonebriar Commercial Finance, said. “We look forward to Ryan’s contributions and have great confidence in his ability to successfully originate viable assets for the Stonebriar balance sheet.”
“I am excited about the opportunity to bring the flexibility and scale of Stonebriar’s capital to my clients,” Bohlert said. “I’ve long admired Stonebriar’s views on asset essentiality, creative approach to structuring and its unique ability to underwrite complex and material transactions for its own account. I am eager to take these capabilities to market.”
