Sumitomo Mitsui Hires Three Construction/Transportation Sales Managers



Sumitomo Mitsui Finance & Leasing hired Michael Biesiada, Dustin Leathers and Scott Morrish as vice presidents and regional sales managers in the Central, Southeast and Eastern regions, respectively.

In their new roles, Biesiada, Leathers and Morrish will each be responsible for developing both the commercial retail and wholesale finance businesses in their respective regions for the construction and transportation segments.

Biesiada comes to SMFL from Texas Farm Credit where he served as branch manager. He has spent 24 years in the leasing and finance industry with increasing levels of responsibility at Rabobank, Paccar Financial, Rush Enterprises and DLL. He will work out of Houston.

Before this post, Leathers worked at GE Capital as a regional sales manager for the Central and Southeast. He also worked in credit at Norwest Financial and in sales roles at CNH Capital and Bank of the West. He will work out of Atlanta.

Morrish previously served as an account executive and program manager at Siemens Financial Services. Prior to that, he worked in the industry for 16 years with increased responsibility at Financial Federal Credit, CNH Capital, DLL and SANY.
