Summit Funding Group expanded its sales team, adding Roderick Ramirez and Steve Dean as regional sales managers.

Ramirez is responsible for originating new business volume in the Southwest region of the U.S. through relationships with dealers, manufacturers and end users in the construction equipment finance industry.

Ramirez has more than 20 years of experience, including leadership positions and sales achievements in the construction industry with ENGS, SMFL, CAT Financial, GE Capital and CitiCapital. Ramirez lives in El Paso, TX.

Dean specializes in equipment leasing and finance contracts and is responsible for relationship development within the material handling and construction industries for Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota.

Dean has a background in financial sales and equipment finance and has been in the industry for almost 13 years, including time with U.S. Bank and, most recently, DLL, where he served as an account executive in the office equipment division.

Prior to that, Dean received accolades for most improved cost centers in 2013 and 2014 for NBH Bank, where he served as a group manager for East Kansas City, MO. Dean also previously served as a senior loan officer for Veterans United Home Loans, specifically focused on helping first-time veteran homebuyers realize their dream of homeownership. In 2012, Dean graduated from the Leadership Development Program with U.S. Bank and managed a team that was one of the Midwest winners of the U.S. Bank National Sales Contest in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
