Summit Funding Group made promotions within its executive management team. The promotions of the individuals reflect their extraordinary leadership, dedication and significant contributions to the ongoing success and growth of the company. Together, they have an impressive average tenure of over 20 years.
The four leaders who have been promoted to executive vice presidents (EVP) are:
Karyn Bendure, EVP of Portfolio Management: Bendure began her career in equipment finance with Summit Funding in 1998. Throughout her career, she has been an integral member of the accounting department and since 2003 has been extensively involved in pricing and portfolio management.
Dan Hathcoat, EVP of Sales: Hathcoat started his career in the leasing business in 1984 with Merchants National Bank and spent time with several finance companies, including Verizon Capital, Bank of America Leasing, American Express Business Finance and LEAF Commercial Capital. In 2006, he joined Summit to lead its newly formed vendor finance unit. In 2020 he was named senior vice president and currently leads the Summit sales team nationwide.
Richard D. (Ricky) Ross, EVP of Capital Markets: Ross has been with Summit since 2008 and began in documentation as a transaction manager, focusing on funding documentation and named vice president. He was promoted to senior vice president in October 2016 and currently leads the capital markets division of Summit.
Jeanette N. Dannenfelser Esq., EVP and General Counsel: Dannenfelser joined Summit in 2016 and was promoted to vice president and general counsel in 2017. She currently leads the compliance and all other legal matters for Summit.
