Supply & Demand Chain Executive named Fleet Advantage, a provider of truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing and life cycle cost management, one of the recipients of its 2021 Green Supply Chain Awards. Recipients were featured in Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s December issue.
The Green Supply Chain Awards recognize companies that prioritize sustainability as a core part of their supply chain strategies and that work to achieve measurable sustainability goals within their own operations and/or supply chains in the areas of sourcing/procurement, fulfillment/logistics, operations, product lifecycle management and other areas of the supply chain.
Fleet Advantage was recognized for its total cost of ownership model, which promotes shorter life cycles and flexible finance options for clean diesel and safety-enhanced trucks. According to Fleet Advantage, in total, the company has saved customers approximately $250 million and approximately 175,000 metric tons in emissions since inception.
“Since the founding of Fleet Advantage, sustainability and environmental leadership have been two very important pillars of our company’s core values,” Brian Antonellis, CTP, senior vice president of fleet operations for Fleet Advantage, said. “We’re proud to be recognized by industry observers and are excited our associates and clients are able to acknowledge the commitment we have in making a cleaner environment.”
