36th Street Capital Partners, an independent provider of equipment financing solutions, appointed Christopher Szopa director of capital markets and in-house counsel.

Based in the Houston metro area, Szopa has more than 25 years of experience in equipment finance, having worked in a variety of roles, including capital markets, legal and leadership positions across business development and operations. Most recently, he served as president of the equipment finance division at Independent Bank. Prior to joining Independent Bank, he held senior roles with Frost Bank. First National Capital and First American Equipment Finance.
