Tamarack Technology has expanded its professional services team with the addition of Shelly Kirsch. In her role as senior application consultant, Kirsch will lead clients through a variety of projects including implementations, system assessments and migrations.

Kirsch brings to Tamarack nearly four decades of experience in accounting, finance and corporate tax. She joins from St. Paul-based Allegiance Financial Group, where she started as controller in 2004 and was promoted to chief financial officer in 2012. During her tenure, she played a key role in the company’s financial management, strategy development, execution, financial decision-making, team-building and process improvement.
Previously, Kirsch held positions focused on accounting, financial forecasting, budgeting and portfolio acquisition analysis. As a senior business group financial analyst for Farm Credit Leasing, she was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, spread analysis and financial analysis for portfolio purchases and sales. Earlier in her career, she served as corporate controller for Sunrise Leasing, a senior corporate tax specialist at KPMG, and a consultant for International Decision Systems (now Solifi).
Kirsch is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, with a degree in business and economics. She is also an Enrolled Agent, a federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Dept. of Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Professionally, she is a member of the Minnesota Society of Enrolled Agents, the National Association of Tax Preparers, the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the National Association of Registered Social Security Analysts.
