TCF National Bank, a subsidiary of TCF Financial, announced a renewal of its contract with First Data Corporation to provide payment solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.
First Data is a global provider of commerce-enabling technology and solutions and its suite of services provide payment processing solutions to TCF Bank’s SMB customers.
“Implementing and upgrading point-of-sale systems to the latest technology can be challenging for SMBs,” said Geoff Thomas, TCF’s managing director of customer segments and alternative channels. “We selected First Data’s payment solutions because they provide all of the tools SMBs need to run and grow their brick-and-mortar, online and mobile businesses.”
TCF Bank SMB customers can implement or upgrade to the latest payment technology with First Data’s Clover point-of-service solution. First Data’s payment solutions include stationary and mobile terminals that accept most payment types and streamline business operations through its expansive Clover App Market. SMBs also can grow their businesses with loyalty programs like First Data’s digital gift card application and learn more about their customers and competitors with First Data’s small business analytics tool.
