According to RenewEnergy, Tesla’s foray into electric freight trucks will dramatically change the freight industry.

RenewEnergy noted that the Tesla Semi, which will be unveiled in late October, will cost somewhere between $200,00 and $240,000 but will have a payback period of three years or less.

The RenewEnergy report indicated that the Telsa driving range outpaces similar offerings from Damiler and Cummins by 100 miles.
