Equipment leasing and finance industry veteran Steven Robbins, who was the founder and president of Tiger Leasing, passed away after a battle with colon cancer.

Before founding Tiger Leasing, Robbins worked for 19 years at Wasco Funding and helped start the Eastern Association of Equipment Lessors which eventually became the National Equipment Finance Association.

Robbins is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ellie Dylan and a daughter, Skyler Dylan-Robbins.
