The Transportation Marketing and Sales Association (TMSA) named Katerina Jones, vice president of marketing and business development at Fleet Advantage, one of three Trailblazer Top Brand Innovators.

This award recognizes individuals in the transportation industry whose achievements, performance and vision have helped shape their company or the industry at large. According to the TMSA, a panel of¬ industry veterans and non-biased judges selected companies and individuals for their excellence in sales or marketing accomplishments in the past 12 to 18 months. Playing a significant role in the success of Fleet Advantage’s business operations, Jones has been instrumental in acquiring new high-profile clients. Jones spearheads various marketing initiatives for Fleet Advantage, including industry reports, infographics, blogs and video content.

As an advocate for the advancement of women within the transportation industry, Jones has won several awards, authored nearly two dozen articles and has made podcast appearances, most recently discussing “the value of mentorship for women” in equipment finance as part of the Monitor Podcast Series. This past April, the South Florida Business Journal named her a 2022 Influential Business Woman of the Year.

Jones involves herself in several charitable organizations. She has been actively involved in the National Private Truck Council for five years as a member of the council’s annual conference planning committee and is also a member of the communications committee of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association.
