Truist Equipment Finance has appointed Nick Karlen as vice president of originations, overseeing the state of Florida. He will report to Scott Lackovitch, managing director.
Karlen began his banking career in 2018 with BB&T Equipment Finance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in finance from West Virginia University, graduating cum laude. After college, he completed the BB&T Early Career Program (ECP).
With a background in credit analysis and deal flow management, Karlen has developed a strong foundation in financial services. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening relationships with bankers and cultivating long-term connections with clients.
