U.S. Bancorp has promoted Adam Graves to senior executive vice president and head of enterprise strategy and administration, the company announced Thursday.
Graves, 47, will now oversee a broader portfolio that includes strategy and corporate development, corporate real estate and procurement, marketing, analytics and customer experience, public affairs and communications, and strategy and administration risk.
He has led the company’s strategy and corporate development since 2023, following five years as head of finance strategy and corporate development. Graves previously worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and is a University of Michigan graduate.
“Adam is an exceptional leader who moves boldly and with pace, and he is well suited to lead our strategy and administration team to new heights in the days to come,” said U.S. Bank President and CEO Gunjan Kedia in a statement. “I appreciate his drive to accelerate growth and to focus on building our brand and reputation with key stakeholders as we create value for our investors.”
Graves will report directly to Kedia and join the company’s managing committee, which includes senior executives leading U.S. Bancorp’s revenue lines and corporate functions.
