Uber Eyes eVTOL Aircraft as Future Taxis

According to an article that appeared on the Corporate Jet Investor, Uber is interested in the potential of a vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

The Investor noted Uber has shown interest in this segment in the past, particularly in a published white-paper that outlined the economic parameters and benefits of eVTOL taxis.

The Investor said Uber is intrigued by the possibility of the reduced cost an eVTOL aircraft could present compared to car travel, with its sights set on testing in 2020.
