UNIFIN Financiera’s board of directors, as part of its management succession process, strategic planning and corporate governance, approved the designation of Sergio Camacho Carmona as CEO, effective October 1, 2018. Luis Barroso Gonzalez, who currently occupies the position, will assume a new mandate as president of the company’s executive committee. He will continue to develop strategic planning functions and will work jointly with Camacho during the transition.
Since 2016 Camacho Carmona has performed as UNIFIN’s CFO. He holds a degree in economics and a master’s in business administration from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM), as well as having completed Harvard Business School’s Global Management Program. Before joining the company, Camacho Carmona held various management positions in both national and international companies.
UNIFIN is an independent Mexican leasing company, operating as a non-banking financial services company, specializing in three main business lines: operating leasing, factoring and auto and other lending.
