Vision Financial Group, d/b/a VFG Leasing & Finance, a privately held independent equipment leasing and finance company founded in 1991, announced the promotion of William P. (Bill) Summers to chief executive officer. Summers succeeds Frederick S. (Fred) Summers, his father and founder of VFG, who will continue his role as chairman of VFG.
Bill joined VFG in 1993 after an honorable discharge from the US Army. He was an early investor in the business starting in 1994 and has held a variety of positions along the way. He holds a BS from The University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from The Moore School of Business at The University of South Carolina.

In 2018, we significantly expanded our funding capabilities, achieved our highest gross revenues in the history of the company, and grew the business by close to 33%.
