Volvo Says North American May YTD Deliveries Up 41%



Volvo Group announced that North American truck deliveries in May of 4,677 vehicles were up 31% compared to the same month one-year ago. Year-to-date deliveries of 22,237 were 41% higher compared to the same period in 2011.

Deliveries of Volvo brand trucks in May and year-to-date were 2,201 and 11,130 units, respectively, up from 2,093 or 5% and 8,753 or 27% compared to the same periods in 2011.

Deliveries of Mack brand trucks in May and year-to-date were 2,426 and 10,806 units, respectively, up from 1,347 or 80% and 6,448 or 68% during the same periods one-year ago.
