Voyager Aviation Holdings, a privately-held aviation investment firm and commercial aircraft leasing company based in Ireland, hired Sean Ewing as its CFO.
Ewing has more than 15 years of aviation, transportation and broader leasing and financial services experience. Most recently, he was managing director in the investment bank’s transportation group at Deutsche Bank, where he worked for more than 11 years. Previously, he spent five years at Citi. During his career, Ewing has executed multiple strategic and financial transactions for companies across aviation and other transportation sectors.
“Over the past year, VAH has made significant strides in strengthening our balance sheet, strengthening our current customer relationships and developing new ones,” Mike Lungariello, president and CEO of Voyager Aviation Holdings, said. “Sean’s finance expertise and experience within the industry couldn’t come at a better time, as it will help build on this progress. Sean’s addition to our executive team positions us well as we enter into this exciting new stage of growth.”
“I am extremely excited and privileged to join VAH at this critical time of significant opportunity,” Ewing said. “VAH has unique strengths, a robust business model and a leading franchise. I look forward to working with Mike and the team to execute its strategic priorities, drive growth and enhance value for the company and its stakeholders.”
