Whooley Named SVP, Commercial Banker at INB Champaign

INB has promoted Tom Whooley to senior vice president and commercial banker at its Champaign branch.

The promotion recognizes Whooley’s consistent portfolio growth, leadership and active community involvement.

Whooley joined INB in 2017 and has more than 20 years of experience in commercial banking. He has helped build long-term client relationships and collaborated across the bank’s retail, mortgage, treasury and wealth teams. His focus on communication and a relationship-first approach have contributed to growth for both his clients and the bank.

In addition to managing a growing portfolio, Whooley has supported INB’s market share expansion in the Champaign area. He participates in local events and nonprofit groups, including the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club.

“Tom’s leadership and deep roots in the community have helped us strengthen our presence in Champaign,” said John Wilson, senior vice president and chief lender at INB. “His ability to build trust and collaborate across teams is a great example of how we deliver value to our clients.”

Founded in 1999 in Springfield, INB, N.A. is a privately owned national bank offering personal and commercial banking and wealth services in Central Illinois, as well as commercial banking in Missouri and Florida.
