WSJ: Airbus, Uber Will Team Up for On-Demand Helicopter Service



In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Airbus CEO Tom Enders said that the European aerospace company will provide helicopters to Uber for on-demand services.

According to the Journal, the partnership will begin this week at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, although financial details were not disclosed.

The Journal noted that Uber tested its first “UberChopper” service in 2013 with service from Manhattan and the Hamptons.
