WSJ: Boeing’s Troubles to Reduce U.S. GDP in 2020

The Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. economy will most likely suffer a reduction in gross domestic product in the first half of 2020 due to Boeing’s ongoing troubles.

The Journal noted that Boeing is the largest exporter in the U.S.

Production of the 737 MAX was stopped after regulators grounded the jet, and Boeing does not anticipate that regulators will clear the aircraft to fly until mid-year, according to the report.
