WSJ: Regulators to Require Electrical Fixes to Boeing 737 MAX

The Wall Street Journal reported that the Federal Aviation Administration may require Boeing to repair electrical wiring in its 737 MAX jets before they are cleared to fly.

The Journal noted that this preliminary decision will apply to each 737 MAX Boeing has produced, which is close to 800 aircraft.

The regulators have indicated that the wiring violates safety standards and could result in flight control system malfunctions, according to the Journal.
