The Wall Street Journal reported that the economic recovery from the pandemic will follow a similar pattern to the recovery from the Great Recession.

Named after the Nike logo due to its shape, the Journal indicated that the economy is expected to recover slowly after experiencing its first dramatic drop.

The Journal noted that global economies are expected to remain depressed into 2021 and recovery could take many quarters if not years.
