The Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter, private equity firm Terra Firma Capital Partners is looking to sell its AWAS Aviation Capital aircraft leasing company.
The Journal noted that Terra Firma appears to have been encouraged to move on this opportunity following CIT’s recent sale of its aircraft leasing business to a Chinese conglomerate for $4 billion.
