WSJ: U.S. Airlines Discuss Potential Shutdown



The Wall Street Journal reported that U.S. airlines are planning to voluntarily shut down most domestic passenger flights, according to officials from the industry.

The Journal noted that the federal government is also considering ordering the shutdown, according to government officials.

The airlines have not decided on final plans yet, but as COVID-19 spreads many parties involved believe further reductions will be inevitable, according to the Journal.
