Wintrust Asset Finance, a subsidiary of Beverly Bank & Trust Company, will host an Equipment Finance Cares Texas event on April 19 from 1:30 to 7 p.m. (CT) at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, TX. The two panels at the event will be the “Human Side of Leasing” and “Best Practices.”

The “Human Side of Leasing” panel, moderated by Sean McKenna of Great American Insurance, will include Travis Melchior of LTi Technology Solutions, Kareem Jernigan of Leasing Associates, Nancy Robles of Eastern Funding and Riley Nemeth of Wintrust Commercial Finance. Topics of discussion will include:
- Mental health of employees
- Diversity, equity and inclusion
- Engaging with the younger work force
- Work life balance
The “Best Practices” panel, moderated by Johnson, will includes Kirk Phillips of Wintrust Commercial Finance, Jill Mckean-Bilby of BOK Financial Equipment Finance, Dave Fate of Stonebriar Commercial Finance and Patrick Hoiby of Equify. The panel will focus on:
- Sharing industry best practices
- Current state of equipment finance
- Women in leasing, succession planning
- Maintaining company culture in a hybrid environment
