Peoples Bancorp, the parent company of Peoples Bank, received all necessary regulatory approvals for its merger with Limestone Bancorp. Peoples will be the surviving corporation following the merger.
The agreement and plan of merger dated as of Oct. 24, 2022, between Peoples and Limestone was approved by Peoples’ and Limestone’s shareholders on Feb. 23.
